John Murphy

John retired to Sedgwick in 1990 after 30 years in marketing for a large consumer products company in Winston Salem, NC. He joined the Endowment Committee in 2000 and became Board Treasurer in 2002. A sailor, John regularly visits the islands of Penobscot Bay and is passionate about protecting our environment for his three children and six grandchildren, who spend summers sailing our waters and enjoying the benefits of the Trust’s vision.
