Kate Tomkins

Kate Tomkins grew up in Brooksville and attended The Bay School and George Stevens Academy. She studied History and International Politics at Connecticut College, and spent a decade leading humanitarian aid and post-conflict development programs in Africa and Asia for the International Rescue Committee. For the past five years, Kate has worked as Director of Development for the nonprofit SeaShare; partnering with the US seafood industry to send seafood to food banks across the country.
Kate moved back to the peninsula with her husband and two young sons in 2018, where they now call Sargentville home. Kate revels in the view she sees each day atop Caterpillar Hill, and is taking every opportunity to explore Trust lands with her family (and dogs), rain, ice, snow, or shine.
