John (Jw) Harriman, our most recent addition to BHHT, joins us as the conservation forester & land manager. He graduated from the University of Maine in 2021 with a degree in Forestry. For the past three years Jw has been working in northern Maine as a district forester and is excited to join our team! Jw is no stranger to the Blue Hill Peninsula having grown up in the neighboring towns of Prospect and Orland. In his spare time Jw enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. “I am looking forward to practicing forestry and conservation in my home communities, and look forward to seeing you out there.”
