John B. Mountain

John B. Mountain

This 250′ mountain sits in the middle of 38 undeveloped acres along the edge of Eggemoggin Reach. A short loop trail takes you to the summit and past an old cemetery. The trail is steep and rocky in sections. A short spur trail heads down a broad and relatively level trail known as the “Old School House Road”. This trail ends at the conservation property line. Recently added is our newest Spur Trail to Long Cove, only 0.2 mi one way to a refreshing view of a tidal stream flowing into Horseshoe Cove.
