Andrew Czwakiel

Andrew Czwakiel, a former James W. Dow intern (2020), rejoined BHHT in 2022 and has served in many capacities for BHHT, so you may have met him while he’s out working on trails or at volunteer work days.

Andrew is a Vermont native, and after graduating from the University of Maine with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Sciences, he decided to stay in Maine.  He found his passion working with land trusts during his internships with BHHT and then the Kennebec Land Trust (2021), and has continued that passion ever since. Andrew also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Bangor Land Trust.

Andrew currently resides in Brewer with his wife Olivia, and two dogs Luna and Aero.  He enjoys working and spending time outdoors and finds Maine to be a great place to explore. In his free time, he likes to do home projects, hike, mountain bike, geocache and spend time with the wife and dogs.
