Andrew Czwakiel, a former James W. Dow intern (2020), rejoined BHHT in 2022 as our Land Steward.
Andrew is originally from Vermont, but after graduating from the University of Maine with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Sciences, he decided to move to Maine. He found his passion working with land trusts during his internships with BHHT and then the Kennebec Land Trust (2021), and has continued that passion ever since. Andrew also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Bangor Land Trust.
Andrew enjoys working and spending time outdoors and finds Maine to be a great place to explore. In his free time he likes to hike, mountain bike, geocache and spend time with his dogs Luna (pictured) and Aero.
