Christine Black

Christine Black is a multi-generational Mainer raised on the Blue Hill Peninsula with a lifelong commitment to land conservation, public access, and stewardship. A Master Maine Guide with a background in wildlife ecology, she previously worked as an ornithologist, contributed to early interpretive programs at Holbrook Island Sanctuary, and spent more than a decade living off-grid in the North Woods managing remote cabins with a strong focus on land stewardship and access. She has served in leadership roles on multiple nonprofit boards. Professionally, Christine brings more than 30 years of experience in organizational leadership, governance, and strategic oversight from her work at Bank of America, where she leads digital onboarding and engagement. She lives in Brooksville and remains dedicated to protecting the Peninsula’s lands, wildlife, and outdoor heritage for future generations.
