Emily Siedel, a former James W. Dow intern (2024), rejoined BHHT in 2025 as the Stewardship and Outreach Associate. Emily recently graduated from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania with a BS in Environmental Geoscience, concentrating in Environmental Science and earned a certificate in Sustainability. Born and raised in eastern Ohio, this past summer was Emily’s first time in Maine and she has absolutely fallen in love with the Blue Hill Peninsula. In her free time, Emily enjoys exploring the peninsula, spending time with friends, hiking, adventuring, meeting new people and playing the flute! She looks forward to continuing working in the conservation field on the local level for BHHT.
