Brendon Reay

Brendon Reay is not from Maine, but he got here as fast as he could.  He is a proponent of community conservation, which emphasizes the wider benefits of land conservation on public health and neighborhood wellness, and is especially interested in how and when land conservation and development can benefit one another. A veteran (USCGR), former fishing guide, and college professor, Brendon has more recently spent the last 10 years or so in the asset management industry, in alternative investments and as an investment consultant, and currently is VP, Director of Investments at The Maine Community Foundation in Ellsworth, ME. He is a graduate of Reed College (BA), Bryn Mawr College (MA), and Stanford University (PhD).  He lives in Blue Hill with his wife, Caroline Bicks.
