Emilie “Casey” Casey is a senior at University of Maine, majoring in Earth and Climate Sciences and minoring in philosophy. Originally from suburban Illinois, they moved to Maine so they could work in conservation and be immersed in truly natural environments. With hopes of becoming a park ranger, Casey is passionate about science communication and is excited to learn about Blue Hill and meet the community.
If they’re not hiking, Casey loves to spend their free time working on ceramic projects, reading and writing, or hanging out with their cat, Penny.
