Harlie was born and raised on the Blue Hill Peninsula and comes from a family that has called the area home for generations. She attended George Stevens Academy before earning an Associate of Applied Science degree with a concentration in healthcare from Washington County Community College in Calais. After graduating, she returned home to the Peninsula, where she began her career in healthcare before joining Blue Hill Heritage Trust. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management to further expand her knowledge and professional skills.
Harlie lives in Brooklin with her daughter, Ella, and their two Labrador Retrievers, Maizey, a black Lab, and Bow, a yellow Lab, who occasionally greets visitors at the office.
Outside of work, Harlie enjoys tending her gardens, hiking local trails, hunting and fishing, caring for her chickens, and making memories with her daughter. She is also an active volunteer and board member at the Brooksville Community Center, where she enjoys helping organize events and supporting programs that bring the community together. Deeply connected to the place she calls home, Harlie is passionate about preserving the Blue Hill Peninsula’s natural landscapes and strengthening the communities that make it such a special place to live.
