Retired Senior Policy Advisor, The Nature Conservancy, Washington, DC, USA
Randy was born in Washington DC and raised overseas during his father’s foreign service career. He was a Government major at Bowdoin and has an MBA from Thunderbird. After college he helped co-found a statewide community land trust and a low-income housing initiative in Maine for 4 years followed by various private sector and non-profit jobs in Costa Rica, Nebraska and Washington DC. In 1987 Randy joined The Nature Conservancy, first as Costa Rica Director and then as senior advisor on international conservation finance and policy measures worldwide. He and his wife Callie bought their home in Blue Hill in 2003 and moved up full-time in 2017. Randy and Callie love hosting family reunions, hiking, sailing, and reading.
