Snow’s Cove Preserve

Home to 2 different trails, totaling 1.75 miles, Snow’s Cove in Sedgewick boasts varying topography and lovely views of the Bagaduce River.  The Fern Rock Loop brings you through wonderful mixed forests.  The 0.25 mile Shore Trail brings you down to the edge of the Bagaduce River where horseshoe crabs can often be spotted.  A small dirt parking area can be found off Route 15.

Location and Parking

A small parking lot and the trailhead are located on the west side of Route 15/Snow’s Cove Road, approximately 1.3 miles south of the junction of Route 15/Mines Road and Route 176/Southern Bay Road.  The parking lot can fit roughly 3-4 cars.

  • Please stay on marked trails.
  • Carry out what you take in.
  • Fires are not permitted.
  • Dogs must be leashed.
  • Foot traffic only.
